How you start your morning sets the tone for the rest of your day. Instead of immediately grabbing your phone and scrolling on Tiktok or Instagram, use your morning to focus on God. A quiet, Christian morning routine helps you live intentionally in His presence and start your day with peace and strength.

1. Start your day with prayer 🙏
💬 “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” - Mark 1:35
Before you start your day, take a moment to talk to God. This doesn't have to be a long prayer; even a short prayer of gratitude or surrender can change your mindset. You can pray for wisdom, strength and peace for the day ahead.
💬 “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” - Psalm 5:3
Also, ask each day to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised us the Holy Spirit as our Helper. We may ask Him daily to make us more like Jesus.
💬 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” - Acts 1:8
When you begin your day with the power of the Holy Spirit, you will find that you experience more peace. You are better able to deal with challenges and respond with love to those around you.
2. Read or listen to the Bible 📖
God's word gives strength and direction for the day. It is good to read the Bible every day because it helps you know the truth better and apply it to your life. When you start your day with God's Word, you fill your heart with truth instead of stress, worry or distraction. That way, you stay on a firmer footing no matter what the day brings.

You can follow a reading plan, read a few verses or even listen to an audio Bible if you don't have much time.
3. Listen to worship music 🙌🏽
By listening to worship music in the morning, you start your day with a heart focused on God. Whether you take a moment to really engage in worship or just listen in the background while getting ready, it helps you be aware of who Jesus is.

What music you choose depends on what helps you get into the right mindset the most. If you want to wake up quietly and start the day calmly, you can choose acoustic or lofi worship music. Instead, do you want to start your day full of energy? Then uplifting gospel or praise music is perfect.

4. Plan your day with God 📝
Before you get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the day, take a few minutes to entrust your planning to God. Write down your tasks, but also ask Him for direction.

Perhaps God is putting someone on your heart to send an encouraging message, or you feel the peace to take an extra break. Put your schedule in His hands and let Him lead you.
